Consequent Services to Police Perssonnel in the Service.
01 Agrahara Insurance
    Medical Insurance Scheme
a. Payment of Hospital and Nursing Home charges - Maximum of Rs: 21000/= (Room charges - Rs: 1500/= per day)
b. Medical and Surgical expenses for a family - Maximum Rs: 50000/=
c. Indoor treatment in a hospital or nursing home for a family Maximum Rs: 15000/-
d. Intensive care, X-ray and Radium investigation for a family Maximum Rs: 20000/=
e. i.    Maximum for a single case from (a) to (d) - Rs: 100000/=
ii.   Maximum for single year from (a) to (d) - Rs: 150000 /=
(If Spouse is in public service, entitled to benefit of Rs: 300000/=)
f. Payment for eye glasses once in three years - Rs: 3500/=
g.

Indoor treatment in a government hospital, or in Ayurvedic hospital - Rs: 500/- per day - Maximum Rs: 5000/=

h.

Normal child birth or natural abortion, maximum 02 occurrences.

Rs: 500/= per day. Maximum 5 days.

Rs: 1000/= per day in private hospital. Maximum 5 days.

 

i.    Cardiac Surgical expenses - (For member only) - Rs: 350000/=

      (Heart attack. Coronary, Artery disease, Strok)

. ii.   Surgical operation (Cancer, Renal failure etc) - Rs: lOOOOO/-
.

iii.  (Cancer, Renal, Faihire, Major Organ transplant, Paralysis)

   Personal Accident and Natural Death Insurance Scheme.
a. Payment of death or permanent disability due to accident - Maximum Rs:600000/-
b.

Payment partial disability - Loss of one leg, one eye, one arm etc Maximum - Rs: 300000/=

c.

Temporary total disability - Rs: 300/= per week. Maximum fifty two (52)
weeks.

d.

Temporary partial disability Rs: 200/= per week. Maximum fifty two (52) weeks.

e.

For a natural death - Rs: 50000/=

2. Amenities fund Unit:-
  

Maximum payment of Rs. 200,000/= for Bypass and Kidney transplantation surgery.

  

Maximum payment of Rs. 25.,000/= per month for drugs utmost for three years
kidney transplanted patient only.

   Maximum payment of Rs. 100,000/= for cancer and incurable disease.
  

Maximum payment of Rs: 10,000/= for external tests, in case of non availability
in government or Police hospital.

  

Maximum payment of Rs: 30,000/= for wheel chair, crutches, artificial legs etc,

   Maximum payment of Rs: 15,000/= for hearing aids
   Maximum payment of Rs: 2,000/== for eye glasses once in two years.
  

Maximum payment of Rs: 10,000/= for MRI scan. Blood tests, urin tests etc.
(Non availability in government or Police hospital only)

  

Maximum payment of Rs: 4,00/= per week for nourishment foods.

  

Maximum payment of Rs: 1,000/= for wreath at the time of funeral of Police Officers

3. Ranaviru Seva Unit:-
 

Co - ordination to obtain loan, from Ranaviru Seva Authority not exceeding Rs: 200,000/= with 03% interest for Ranaviru family to purchase a land or build a house.

4. Housing Development Unit
   Under mentioned officers are entitled to obtain a land to build a house
i.     Police Officers who have completed twelve years service.
ii.    Disabled Police personnel due to terrorist attack.
iii.   Dependants of death Police personnel due to terrorist attack.
5. Property Damage and School Admission Unit
   Co -ordination for year one admission of children of death, disabled, missing Police Officers due to terrorist attack and Police Personnel serving in operational areas.
  

Co -ordination for year one admission of Children of Police personnel in defence school at Slave Island.

   Co - ordination to receive compensation for house damages due to terrorist activities.
  

Co - ordination for transfers of spouses of Police personnel in case of changes of residence.

   Co -ordination for new supply of electricity, telephone and water, to the dwelling house of Police personnel serving in operational areas with discounts.
   Co -ordination for school Admission of children of Police officers other than year one admission due to transfer or change of residence.

Services to Retiring Officers,

  1.

To educate Retiring Police Officers six months prior to retirement to begin to prepare
their pension file from respective Division.

  2. Co -ordination to obtain pension file of officers who are about to retire from service
  3. Co - ordination with pension Department to pay commuted pension before officers are
retired.
  4. To expedite pension of retired Police officers within one month.
  5.

Direction to retiring officers to obtain their dues from, Snr. Gazetted Officers'

    association, Inspectors' association and CWC/ Benefit scheme as early as possible.
