On 04.07.2012 receipt of information Special Task Force (STF) personnel attached to the Suriyawewa STF camp intelligent unit detected a large scale ganja plantation and arrested a suspect in Thanamalwila police area at Udawalawa forest, recently. The STF had seized 6000 ganja plants planted on an area of 1/2 acres in extent .A Suspect were produced at the Thanamalwila Police station for further investigations.
