Another Provincial IT Technical Unit affiliated to the Information Technology Division Police Headquarters for the Northern Province, was declared open by Mr. P.G.S. Gamini Silva / Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (Northern Province). This unit is located at Vavunia Police Complex and inauguration ceremony was held on 15.09.2012 at 0845 hrs. Mr. Hemantha Adhikari / SSP Vavunia Division, Mr. Tharaka Senavirathna / ASP  Information Technology Division and other senior officials took part at this occasion.
