Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Director (Logistics) - Supplies and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 09.00 a.m. to 03.00 p.m. on weekdays except public and government holidays.

Qualifications / requirements include: All Bidders shall possess legal rights to supply the Goods, A Bidder shall not have a conflict of interest, and Bidder's name shall not be included in the list of Debarred firms at the website of National Procurement Agency. A margin of preference for eligible locally produced goods offered shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.

A complete set of Bidding Documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non refundable fee of Rs. 1,000.00 each per item (for Registered Suppliers Rs.750.00). The method of payment will be in cash.

Bids must be put in to the Tender Box at the office of the Accountant - Logistics, 2nd Floor, Police Headquarters, Colombo 01, at or before 02.00 P.M. on dates mentioned in the Schedule under the above paragraph No. 1. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder's representative who choose to attend in person on - line at the above address at 02.00 P.M. on dates mentioned in the Schedule under paragraph 1. Selected Item of bid must be accompanied by a Bid - Security.

Bidders are advised to handover the samples to supplies to the Division as early as possible without waiting Till the last moment because delays might be caused due to security checking at the entrance. Only the entrance gate near the Grand Oriental Hotel is allowed for the bidders to enter the Police HQ.

Purchase of electronic data management application software Extension of bids opening The police department
The bid for the purchase of Electronic Data Management Application Software published on "Dinamina and Daily News" on 22.04.2013 and "Thinakaran" on 23.04.2013 scheduled to be opened on 27.05.2013.
Due to unavoidable circumstances date of opening of the bid will be extended up to 11.06.2013.
Bidders are advised to purchase the Bid Documents on or before 10.06.2013.
