The Chairman, Ministry Procurement Committee (MPC), on behalf of the Police Department will receive sealed bids in respect of supply of 30,000 Prs. Canvas Shoes for the Sri Lanka Police Department and receiving will be closed at 1400 hrs. on 15th November 2012.

Local suppliers and foreign suppliers, foreign principals or their accredited agents are eligible to bid.

Bidding documents can be inspected free of charge at the Procurement Branch, Ministry of Defence & Urban Development, No. 15/5, Baladaksha Mawatha, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka.

| 04 |
Bidding documents can be purchased on any working day from 0900 hrs. to 1500 hrs. from the Chief Accountant, Ministry of Defence & Urban Development, 15/5, Baladaksha Mawatha, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka by paying of a non - refundable document fee of Rs. Two Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 2,500.00) to the Chief Accountant, Police Headquarters, Colombo 01. However, agents / suppliers who do not possess the registration with the Ministry of Defence & Urban Development for 2012 under respective item category have to make an additional non - refundable tender fee of Rupees Five Thousand (5,000.00) to Chief Accountant, Sri Lanka Police Headquarters, in addition to the above non - refundable document fee of Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred (Rs. 2,500.00). The bidding documents will be sold until 1500 hrs. on 12th November 2012.

Sealed Bids may be dispatched either by Registered Post or hand delivered and deposited in the Sealed Tender Box at the office of the Chief Accountant at the Ministry of Defence & Urban Development, to be received before 1400 hrs. on 15th November 2012

Bids will be opened immediately after the closing at 1400 hrs. on 15th November 2012 at the Procurement Branch, Ministry of Defence & Urban Development, No. 15/5 Baladaksha Mawatha, Colombo 03, Sri Lanka. Bidders or their authorized representatives are requested to be present at the opening of bids.
