Five suspect were arrested by STF

On 10.10.2011 five suspects were arrested by STF personnel of Mannar camp whilst amassing sand without permit in Murunkan police area at Arammaru. The officers were able to seize equipment which is used for amassing sand.

On 08.10.2011 a sil campaign was organized by Police officers of Deniyaya police and civil Security committee at Adardeniya Viharahena Kanishta Vidyalaya to develop the harmony and conviviality between nations and religions. There were 80 Sinhala and Tamil villages participated.

On 03.10.2011, a suspect with a tractor was arrested by a team of officers of Vavuniya STF camp whilst transporting a large number of timber without permit at opposite of the Puntottam teachers's training college in Vavuniya police area.

On 01.10.2011 police officers of Mannar Police Division conducted an awareness programme of Civil Security Committee activity at Mannar Sittivinayagar Maha Vidyalaya main hall. Religion leaders, Government officers, Area Government Agent and over 900 Civil Committee Members participated to the programme.
