This School in manage by Police Department  under the supervison of Community Policing Directorate with the Guidance of Police Buddhist and religious affairs Association and Police Seva Vanitha Unit with Co-operation of  the Police Medical Service Division.

A Bodhi Pooja ceremony was held at the Roopaskulama forest reserve, where 600 police officers of the Thirullovil Police Area of Ampara Division had been killed on 11.06.1990. This religious ceremony was held on the Bak (April) Full Moon Poya Day, which fell on 03.04.2015 in memory of those demised police officers and to invoke merits on them.

A suspect with Rs. 5000 and Rs. 1000 counterfeit notes worth Rs. 22,35000 was taken into custody on 02.04.2015 after carrying out an investigation based on a tip-off received by the Raththota Police.
