A woman who was engaged in the distribution of drugs with the leading drug dealers was taken into custody with heroin worth more than 10 lakhs, mobile phones, spoons for measuring drugs and Rs. 850.00 by the Officers of the Crimes Branch of Dehiwala Police on 11th June, 2013.

64 Inspectorate officers and 94 junior rank officers have completed 6 weeks Crime Detective Diploma Course on 31 June 2013.

The fraudster was produced before the Magistrate Court, Polonnaruwa on 5th June, 2013 and has been remanded for 14 days.
