90 liters of illegal liquor, a live grenade, two swords found in the stopped car

One officer of the Colombo North Division motorcycle team has acted to stop a car by shooting that was driving continuously despite police orders on the night of 23.01.2025 at Kalupalama area.   

This shooting was done due to the failure of the attempt to stop the chase by the motorcycle, and one of the suspects who was traveling in the car got minor injuries. 

These two suspects, aged 45, who have been found to be residents of Wattala area, have been submitted to Modara Police Station for further investigations.
