A suspect arrested for posting AI- generated nude pictures of women

A suspect in connection with two similar incidents of creating and posting AI-generated fake nude pictures of two women was arrested on 29.03.2025 by the Auradhapura Sub Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department.

The suspect was a 20-year-old resident in the Saliyapura, Anuradhapura area.

He has been remanded until 10.04.2025 after being produced before the Magistrate’s Court, Anuradhapura.
