A Large-scale illicit liquor hideout in Pamunugama raided

Officers of the Police Organized Crime Control Unit of Special Task Force raided an illicit liquor racket operating in the Muthurajawela area of Pamunugama on the morning of 06.04.2025, while taking into custody 378 liters of illicit liquor stored ready for sale, 3683 liters of Goda used for production, 12 copper coils, 30 barrels, and 12 cans, along with a number of other paraphernalia.

One suspect has been arrested and has been produced to the Pamunugama Police Station for further investigations.
