Two suspects arrested with 309 kilograms of Kerala cannabis

Officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau have arrested two suspects in possession of nearly 309 kilograms of Kerala cannabis in the Bangalawatta area of Wattala on the evening of 15.08.2025.

Based on a piece of information disclosed, these suspects and the stock of Kerala cannabis were arrested after raiding a rented house in the Bangalawatta area. During the preliminary investigation, it is revealed that the suspects are 43 and 49 years of age and are residents of the Grandpass area.

The Police Narcotics Bureau is conducting further investigations into this.
