Inspector General of Police calls on Commander of Air force

The Inspector General of Police, Mr. Priyantha Weerasuriya called on the Commander of the Air Force, Air Marshal Bandu Edirisinghe, on 25 – 08 – 2025 at the Air Force Headquarters, for the first time after assuming duties in the office of IGP.

The Inspector General of Police was received by the Commanding Officer of the Air Force Station, Sri Jayewardenepura, Air Commodore Buddhika Piyasiri, and the Guard of Honour has been conferred.

Following the customary proceedings, the Inspector General of Police and the Commander of the Air force had cordial discussion. The Commander extended well wishes to the newly appointed IGP. Subsequently, they exchanged a souvenir to commemorate the meeting.
