IGP calls on His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, Archbishop of Colombo

Inspector General of Police Mr. Priyantha Weerasuriya made a courtesy call on the Archbishop of Colombo, His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith, at the Bishop’s House in Colombo in the afternoon of 28.08.2025 and had a cordial discussion.

The Director of the Criminal Investigation Department, Deputy Inspector General of Police Shani Abeysekara, also participated in this meeting. The Cardinal bestowed his blessings upon the IGP, and the IGP presented a commemorative plaque to the Cardinal, marking the occasion.
