IGP attended to an International conference in China

Inspector General of Police Attorney at Law Mr. Priyantha Weerasooriya has left the country to take part in an International Police summit being held in China. IGP Weerasooriya departed for China on the 15th September 2025.

During his absence, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police Mr. Lalith Pathinayake will act as the Acting IGP, including supervising the Central Province and the Police Administration Division.

IGP is scheduled to deliver an address at the summit in China.
