Written competitive examination for the ranks of Sub Inspector of Police and Police Constable will be held

As per Government Gazette Notification No. 2442 dated 20 – 06  2025, 7036 applicants who applied for the ranks of Sub Inspector of Police and Police Constable of the Sri Lanka Police have been invited for the written examination and their admission cards have already been sent. 

Measures have been taken to conduct the written examination on 04.10. 2025 at the following 07 examination centers across the island.

• Written examination for the rank of Sub Inspector of Police On 04.10.2025 from 1300 hrs to 1500 hrs

• Written examination for the rank of Police Constable On 04.10.2025 from 1000 hrs to 1215 hrs

The examination centers are as follows.

1. Vivekananda College, Colombo 13

2. Hamid Al Husseini College, Colombo 12,

3. Gurukula College, Kelaniya

4. Sri Sumangala College, Kandy

5. Sylvester College, Kandy

6. Walisinghe Harischandra College, Anuradhapura

7. St. Aloysius College, Galle
