A suspect was arrested in possession of 12 kg and 212 g of Ash

Based on information received regarding drug-related activities, officers from the Wellampitiya Police Station conducted a raid in the Megodakolonnawa area of Wellampitiya on the night of 03.11. 2025 and during the raid, they arrested a suspect in possession of 12 kilograms and 212 grams of Ash. 

The suspect is a 54 year old resident of the same area.

The suspect is to be produced before the Court on 04.11.2025 and further investigations are being carried out by the Wellampitiya Police Station.
