As part of the island wide implementation of the “Ratama Ekata” national mission, all government institutions are working together to eradicate the growing drug menace in the country.
The Sri Lanka Police is playing a direct and active role in this initiative by carrying out various programs aimed at preventing drug trafficking, particularly those targeting school children.
In line with this mission, schools across the country, under the leadership of principals and staff, have also launched numerous drug prevention programs to protect students and promote a drug-free environment.
To strengthen these efforts, the Police Kennels Division will assist in conducting drug detection and search operations at the school level.
If such assistance is required, the principal of the respective school may contact the Director of the Sri Lanka Police Kennels Division to obtain the necessary support.
