Suspect Arrested with 2 kg and 60g of Narcotics

On the evening of 25.03.2026, officers attached to the Enderamulla Police inspected a suspicious three-wheeler at Sambuddhathwa Jayanthi Mawatha within the Enderamulla Police Division.

During the inspection, the officers recovered 1kg and 30g of “ice” (crystal methamphetamine), 1kg and 30gm of heroin, and a sum of Rs. 130,000 (Rupees One Hundred and Thirty Thousand), suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking. A suspect was taken into custody along with the three-wheeler.

The suspect is a 36-year-old resident of Wanawasala.

Enderamulla Police are conducting further investigations.
