23 year old suspect arrested in Ambalangoda with Heroin 120 grams

A team of officers from the Elpitiya Divisional Criminal Investigation Bureau apprehended a suspect in possession of 120 grams of heroin in the Devagoda area, within the Ambalangoda Police Division, on the morning of 18.04.2026. The suspect was subsequently handed over to the Ambalangoda Police Station.

The individual has been identified as a 23-year-old resident of the Devagoda area.

Further investigations are being carried out by the Ambalangoda Police.
