Suspect Arrested with Large Haul of Narcotics in Kiribathgoda

Acting on a tip-off, a team of officers attached to the Colombo District Crime Division conducted a raid in the Dikpitigoda area within the Kiribathgoda Police Division on the night of 18 July 2026.

During the operation, officers arrested a 31-year-old suspect in possession of approximately 6 kilograms and 96 grams of crystal methamphetamine (“Ice”), 2 kilograms and 70 grams of heroin, and 5,000 narcotic pills.

The suspect is a resident of the Dikpitigoda area.

Further investigations are being carried out by the Colombo District Crime Division.
