Three Chinese Nationals Wanted for Arrest

The Colombo District Crime Division is conducting investigations to apprehend three additional Chinese nationals allegedly involved in an incident that occurred on 23.07.2026, in which three Chinese nationals staying in the Colombo Port City were assaulted, and one of them was abducted and subsequently killed.

Two Chinese nationals allegedly connected to the incident have already been arrested and are currently in remand custody.

Investigations have revealed that the three suspects are believed to be staying in Sri Lanka and that the visas under which they entered the country have expired.

As there is a possibility that the three suspects may attempt to leave the country illegally by air or sea, anyone with information that may assist in locating or apprehending them is requested to immediately contact the following telephone number:
