Convocation of the Degree Programme, ‘National Security and Strategic Studies’

Security personnel who have successfully completed the Degree on ‘National Security and Strategic Studies’ from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University have been awarded at the convocation which was held on 18-11-2024 at the University. The Secretary to the Ministry of Defence, (Retired) Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuyacontha graced the ceremony as the chief guest, and the Commanders of Tri Forces, and Acting Inspector General of Police, Priyantha Weerasooriya (Attorney-at-Law) have participated in the event.

This degree programme has been conducted and administered by the National Defence College (NDC), the most recognized institute in Sri Lanka, which awards degree programme on national security. Senior Superintendent of Police Mrs. Lanka Rajini, Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Nishantha Chandrasena, and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Sugatha Galagamage from Sri Lanka Police have obtained their degree certificates at the event.
