Flood Relief Donation Programme

Emergency Aid financial contributions were received from member countries of many IPA Sections. IPA Sri Lanka identified 29 families of Member Police Officers who were affected by the deluge during the month of May 2016. The contributions so received were disbursed to affected 29 Police Officers at an official ceremony held on 5^th August, 2016 under the auspices of Mr. Pujith Jayasundara, Inspector General of Police, and the National President of IPA Sri Lanka.

Our Section, through a process of screening, identified 80 families of Police Officers, including members of the IPA, who were affected by the deluge during the month of May 2017. The donations so received were disbursed amongst the affected 80 Police Officers at an official ceremony held on 31^st October, 2017 at the Police Headquarters, Colombo, under the auspices of Mr. Pujith Jayasundara, (IGP) National President of IPA Section, attended by the National Secretary General and National Executive Council Members.
