The ceremony for giving away stationery for police officers’ children, who will be newly admitted to grade 1 in 2015, was held on 16.01.2015 at the auditorium of DIG’s office-Colombo. 40 children of STF officers symbolically received stationery under the auspices of Commandant of the STF Senior Superintendant of Police Mr. Ranjith Perera at the STF Headquarters in Colombo on 16.01.2015.

PC Samaranayake who is attached to the Damana traffic branch heard some people were screaming for help near the Sambodi temple, Damanapadagoda road while he was on the way to home at about 1930hrs after attending duties on 23.12.2014.
