It is mandatory that the PNB closely liaises with all related international agencies as the drug menace is not limited to a particular nation. The fact that most of the drugs that are abused in Sri Lanka are illegally imported from other countries As such the PNB is in close contact with foreign agencies such as the Interpol, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) USA, Her Majesty’s Customs UK, Bundes kriminalamt Germany, Narcotics Control Bureau, India (NCB) and Anti Narcotics Force, Pakistan (ANF) for exchange of information and seeking assistance for investigation for wanted persons.
